EXPERIENCE
Dr Ganiat Jaiyesinmi Ajayi started her career at DeKalb Crisis Center in 1999 as the medical director; she introduced the Intense Day Treatment program. She moved to Fulton County in 2003 to start an acute outpatient psychiatric program called Intervention One and was appointed as the Clinical Director. She also worked with HIV patients at the intensive outpatient care unit of Ryan White Clinic. She was the Medical Director of Southern Women Housing Alliance, a substance abuse treatment center for women from 2003 to 2007. Dr. Ajayi went into private practice in 2004 and became a solo practioner in 2005. She and her husband Steve Olabode Ajayi started Heritage Medical Solutions in 2005. Heritage Medical Solutions is a fast growing Christian Psychiatric facility located in Buford, GA. Dr. Ajayi has extensive training and experience in psychiatric Obstetrics, Addictive medicine, adolescent and adult psychiatry. She is also licensed to prescribe Suboxone for Opiate Dependence. Dr. Ajayi has received numerous awards and recognitions over the span of her career.
